     It was amazing to watch the Academy Awards and realize that three presenters, Sean Penn, Kate Winslet and Jude Law, and one entertainer, Yo Yo Ma, had all been in the restaurant over the past ten days.

     A great review from our customers that attended the Jack Daniel's seminar:  Jimmy Bedford, Master Distiller at Jack Daniel's presented a whiskey tasting of Jack Daniel's, Gentleman Jack and a special reserve for seventy attendees.  Chef Terry McDonner provided additional tasting's of food with Jack Daniel's:  Smoked pork loin and a peach bar-b-que sauce of Jack Daniel's, mini-burgers with Jack Daniel's caramelized onions, beef tips marinated in Jack Daniel's, chocolate laced pralines with Jack Daniel's, bread pudding with a hard sauce of Jack Daniel's, and a Jack Daniel's mint julep ice cream.  Expect more of these unique offerings at Juban's.

     New Orleans Food and Wine Experience 2005

     Juban's has been invited to participate in the two day Grand Tasting by the Louisiana Seafood Promotion and Marketing Board featuring Louisiana Shrimp.  The event will be held on Friday, May 26 and Saturday, May 27 at the Morial Convention Center.
